Cessna to Texel

Last sunday I was invited by Bas Stubert to fly along in a Cessna from Hilversum to Texel and back. The day started with fog and no wind so we waited with coffee and apple pie by the fire at the small airport of Hilversum.

When the fog eventually lifted we went to the Cessna to do the pre-flight check. I positioned myself in the back to take landscape photographs with my 45 mm TS-E (tilt shift lens). On the way back Bas and I traded places so I shot some details of the gentleman who flew the plane (in the front there is not much room to move around) (I brought my 100 mm macro which was perfect for this). The flight was very comfortable. I could do this again.
