Currently I am working on large photographs of layered scapes of mountains and night sky. In these works there is a lot that I love: complex structures, intricate details, a lot of room to wander around, to recognize smaller compositions that could stand on their own, and a theoretical foundation\u00a0which I can explain vaguely (ask me about it).<br \/>\nThe biggest challenge is not to let the calm of the work evaporate. I want each photograph to be sort of a couple of bars of rests for a section in an orchestra. Just a small pause where you, the musician, can look up and\u00a0breathe,\u00a0while the big and beautiful symphony continues all around you, and probably\u00a0even in your head.
