But sometimes there is no urgency or sense. I was reading a great blogpost by Lauren Henkin (photographer) about a period of lack of creativity:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.laurenhenkinblog.com\/2011\/05\/the-creativity-drought\/\">http:\/\/www.laurenhenkinblog.com\/2011\/05\/the-creativity-drought\/<\/a><br \/>\nIn the mean time the start of an idea for a new series Standing there, self portraits of someone with no real purpose or drive, started to emerge.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_252\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-252\" style=\"width: 683px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-252\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joerivanveen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Standing-there-1.jpg\" alt=\"Standing there 1\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-252\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Standing there 1 &#8211; photo Joeri van Veen 2011<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>And I saw work from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mishaderidder.com\/\">Misha de Ridder<\/a> in Foam, he has some moving landscapes (video). They are completely different from my idea of moving landscapes, but seeing them boosted my confidence in the idea. My landscapes would be stop motion loops accompanied by artificial sound. Maybe it is not so much a creativity drought as it is an activity drought (in my case).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Linking to a great blogpost of Lauren Henkin about the creativity drought.
