Naarden Vesting is a beautiful place with a lot of historic details but as usual I did not choose to portray it in the tourist-guide kind of way. As always I try to get to the essence of the matter by keeping an eye on irrelevant details. This way when portraying a place you run the risk of making the work too generic, a risk I am willing to take, hoping to be able to unfocus on the place so much that it starts to emerge by itself
