After the Sleeklens people brought to my attention their landscape adventure actions for Photoshop I decided to take some older landscape photographs out for a spin. Mostly my photographs are realistic and lifelike (aka dull) ie not attracting many views on the internet about which I have been known to lament once in a while. Maybe less so with Sleeklens\u2019 landscape adventure Photoshop actions.
\nAfter applying a couple of actions my landscape photographs sure look a lot more \u201cinteresting\u201d. I have not printed anything but judging from my experience in this field I think the Sleeklensed photographs will hold up quite well. Sometimes artefacts in the file are brought out by extreme settings and the Sleeklens actions use sharpening quite a lot (which I would do only when preparing for output and not during the workflow). Also the editing is destructive, see the tutorials on their site. This is probably inevitable due to the nature of actions. By inspecting what the actions \u201cdo\u201d (it\u2019s still just Photoshop, not sorcery) a lot can be learned though, this is an impressive set of actions.
