Honourable mention Joeri van Veen

Joeri van Veen (assisted by Bas Stubert who operated the camera!) received an honourable mention for his entry in the dfoto.nl photo contest of july, which had "Loss" as subject. With below pictured photograph Joeri tried to illustrate the loss of civilization ("evilization" maybe).

The opposing thumb is a symbol for civilization here, the loss is more painful because we miss a certain dexterity when the thumb is not there...
